I can only speak on the individual slices they have displayed which are HORRIBLE! Been there 3 times and the crust is always burnt so hard to the point it cuts my mouth while eating .. and the cheese/toppings are always over reheated. U can tell they over cook their pizzas when they open( which leaves very little room for reheating) .. and have the same slices up there ALL DAY due to low foot traffic downtown(not like a NYC,Chi,Miami). $5-7 for a slice that tastes like 2 day old reheated pizza from your fridge is ridiculous. Business model needs to be revised asap or they won’t be here long. PS : Also the unnecessary response from the owner to the honest review from Robert West ,which of whom I have no affiliation, further proves why as a downtown resident I will not be spending my $ or recommending this place to the many ppl I know that come to Jax .

I love the beer variety. That fact that you can pour your own beer. You pour by oz this way you can try many different flavors. They have a beautiful seating, second floor is totally relaxing and the outdoor at night is amazing as well, you can really enjoy city view, Totally recommend this place. I visit one a week is so worth it.

This is a 7.9 pizza! I live in Jax but travel all over the country trying the best pizza places! As of writing this review, this is the best pizza in Jax! No flop, light sauce, perfect amount of cheese, and no grease!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Found this place on the One Bite app, which had a high score and great reviews. Doesn’t disappoint! Pizza has a nice char, and flavor is on point. Good thin crust that holds up and doesn’t flop. I am a little confused; however, the menu is Italian-inspired, and the decor, with cassette tapes and 1980s boom boxes, creates a different vibe. Then there’s the Spanish music throughout, and the sports on all the TV screens. The personality conflict is maddening.

Revised July 25: Stopped by for lunch today. We enjoyed this place past time, but this time we were LOVED it! The slices/pizza keeps getting better and better, and it was awesome to see so many people in for lunch on a weekday. Service was fast, and everyone was very nice. I cannot stress how exciting it is to have another amazing food spot downtown! Original post: We happened across this place today when they had their soft opening. Got several slices of pizza (both for dine in and to go). Was very happy with the food we got, especially for the price. Staff were all very friendly and we had a minimal wait time. We’re excited for them to do their full menu launch next week. As a downtown resident, it’s very exciting to see new restaurants opening up, and Pizza Dynamo is a welcomed and celebrated addition to what downtown has to offer!!
